time off work for therapy

I injured my knee at work and had orthoscopic surgery.iwent to therapy after surgery and was released to return to work.after working a few days i had to go back to the dr. todrain fluid out of my knee.the dr. put me back in therapy twice a week.,does the company have to allow me time to go to therapy. they told me i could leave 30 minutes before my appt. time iget really dirty and greasy at work because i am a mechanic .should i get enough tim to be able to shower before i go to my appt.

You should get enough time off to be able to go to the doctor in proper and clean condition. Why not try to arrange your therapy before you go to work? Or on the way home? These are not really legal problems, they are problems involving people who just need to communicate to get this solved.
