Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

Im A PERSON WHO injured my back working for pepsi cola as a truck driver, i kept working and reported 31 days later. I was thinking the pain would go away with a vacation coming along i would of rest enough when i return. I work 1 more day after the vacation and the next morning i call my boss and told him. That i was going to the hospital. I stay in the hospital for 7 days and worksman comp denie my case because of 1 day late of reporting. Its been over 1 year and still not working i got 4 epidorals on my lowerback, mri,xrays. 3 of my coworkers knew about my back when i got hurt, and everyone there knows that if you reported you only get pay $6.00 an hr. I have four kids and there is noway ill work for $6.00, so i did the best i could to cure my back during my vacation but it was not enough. Sence i did not reported within 30 days and did it 1 day late do you think i have a case that is my ?
