Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

I am considering filing ch 13 bankruptcy. The only bills i have are a car payment and a few small loans that have some of my belongings listed to secure the loans. I have been out of work and just now find a job and wont be making much money. The loans are about 3 months behind...Is filing ch 13 an option? If I fileon mycar will I be able to keep it aslong as payments are paid through the ch 13? Please advise.

You can only get the answer by seeing a BR lawyer in your area - likely one who will give you a free consultation. Many more facts are necessary, and you might find that a Chapter 7 is the best option but, again, it is not something that can be determined on what you posted.

Many times a Chapter 13 is an option for people in your situation. A lot of it will be determined by your current income and whether you can afford the Chapter 13 along with your other monthly expenses. And yes if you file a Chapter 13, the car gets paid through the plan. For further information, please contact our office.
