Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia

I opened a used car business with my husband and mother in law, it is listed as an s corp, no minutes where recorded properly +++ and the corp was never run as such, their immigration status is also shaking with me being the only us citizen, i filed for him but he was denied so we are going through an appeal, his mother has funded this business a great deal and she is listed as a s/h but her immigration status is also shaky. now I am going to go through a divorce and I am trying to figure out the best way to proceed..first..who really owns the business since nonresidents or citizens cannot be s/h in a s corp and what legal rights or power do i have since I have worked in this business since day one and my mother in law has not but her name has been on everything financially along with my spouse but now the s-corp is in debt atleast 85k.

this is a question that ia a combination of business law, immigraion law and divorce law
