Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

I have been divorced and paying child support for over 12 years. My X wife has had custody since then. For Chrstmas 2008/sixteenth birthday my X-wife gave my son a truck. He played ball all his life and was never required to work. He graduated this year, worked for the first time this summer before college, paid his own tuition and four weeks ago at 181/2 years old decided to come live with me. His mother came and took his truck. Sheriff let her have it because it is in her name. Can she legally take back this gift. What law or case back up the answer if NO? Thanks

Unless she signed over title, she never gave him the truck. The way to give or sell a truck is by signing the title. So it's hers.
