Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Refusing to sell part

Let's say you purchase a scooter/moped from a dealer. They quit selling them because the company they bought from will not sell them spare parts. You end up going to annother seller and ask for a part. They tell you if you did not get the bike from them they will not sell you the part. Can a business do this? If so what law SPECIFFICALLY says yes. Snotty replies are not tolerated.

Of course a business generally has the right to do business, or not do business, with whomever they please. There is no need for a law to be enacted to state this.

Re: Refusing to sell part

Generally, anybody can refuse to business with whomever they choose. I would advise you to contact the manufacturer and discuss the situation.
