Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Judgement

I got 3 payments behind with a financial company and they have served me with summons and I will go to court for judgement. I made a payment a few days before the summons was served. The company is continuing to harass me with phone calls even though they have taken legal action. My question is can they continue to do that and also should I continue to catch up on my payments before going to court?

They can call and sue at the same time. Since they will probably win a much larger amount in court, paying in advance now, without an agreement with the creditor, doesn't do much good. If the suit amount is large, you probably need to talk to a lawyer.
