If you transfer an interest in the house to her, certainly it can lead to a lien on the house. The same is true for joint bank accounts. The reality is that aside from any legal issues, the huge debt of one spouse almost always affects the other spouse one way or the other. It is also a danger zone for the relationship. You are likely going to get collection calls, and perhaps answer the door to lawsuits and garnishment actions. It brings hugfe negatives/baggage into the marriage. You might find that allowing her to get out of the financial problems before marriage is a wise decision.
