Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Personal sale

My husband passed away 1 yr ago today. A woman just called me stating that my husband purchased a sandlbaster from her and still owes her $75.00. She is calling me wanting the money and there are no sales records. This is the first time she has inquired about the $75.00. What do you suggest I do? Do I have to legally pay this even though my husband was the one who made this purchase? Thank you.

Re: Personal sale

The alleged debt should have been paid by your husband's estate if it was legitimate. If it was not paid and a real debt, you should pay it because it is the right thing to do.
