Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

To take a plea or jury trial?

At my place of employment, In the employee restroom,a coworker found a small leather pouch containing suspected drugs(meth) and a pipe. I had used the restroom and was exiting area as she was entering. I returned to my station and thought that I had left my purse in restroom( clear plastic company issued bag) for assest protection. I headed back to the break area and as I was , the coworker asked me if I had left my bag in the restroom. I stated that I may have , She said that she had given it to our manager in the office. I thanked her and proceeded to office door(secure area)glass window, obstructed view, so we lipsync, I was asking manager about my bag, he asked Is it yours, I stated yes, until he held up the unfamiliar bag, and then I told him ''no'', mine is clear. I later returned to locker and found my bag was there all along.

After a few minutes , I observed a police officer in the office with several employees. They called me to the office and the officer was very nice(at first) and he asked me if I would mind riding down to the station with him( He thought I could help him) , I stated I was busy and could he just talk to me there. He said he would appreciate it if I would go and he would bring me back he less than a hour.

Re: To take a plea or jury trial?

Sorry but I don't see enough information to answer the question properly. The one thing that I do understand from the situation is that you need to be talking to your attorney. If you don't have one then you definately need one due to the seriousness of the charges.
