Shoplifting in Atlanta

I caught for shoplifting in Macy's for $100 item. Police gave me a citation and asked me to appear in Dekalb court. Its my first time.....any idea what will Judge do at the most? Please reply. Thanks

Possibly....ban you from the store (more than likely), make you pay restitution, put you on probation....the list can be endless but if you don't have priors, then he/she may be a little more lenient, but you will get punishment. Are you planning on pleading guilty? Have you spoken to an attorney yet, or is this the first time? Call me if you would like to discuss your case further.
