Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

my son was jumped by two illegal immigrants he beat one up and was arrested we have a supeoned eye witness that said no robbery occured but the one that started it all that got beat up is claiming my son took ten bucks and a flip phone even though hes the last one to use his phone and ten mins after the fight my son was only in possession of his adroid and 4 20 dollar bills and the illegal alien said my son took ten bucks and the flip phone how can they still charge him and how likely is it that they will extradite him from mexico where he is now and can i fire this lawyer this close to the trial i feel like he has mislead us and misinformed us as well as ill informed us and it may cause my son his freedom
