I had a case similar to this a few years ago. The father filed an eviction notice on the son. The mother appeared at the hearing on behalf of her son with evidence that she was on title to the house with the father. The court stated the mother had the right to have the son live at the house. If she had not been on title, the son would have been evicted. This result, of course, caused problems between the Husband and Wife.

It depends on who owns the home. If both parents do, your mother can block an eviction. If she's not on the deed, she can't.
