Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

my daughters father lost his job and will be filing an amendment to decrease child support payment. what are my rights as custodial parent to fight this.

Losing a job doesn't guarantee a change in support. Since that's temporary, and support lasts for years, you likely have some strong arguments against it. Step one is you don't do anything now at all. Until and unless he files, the present order stands. If he does file, immediately see a lawyer to determine an appropriate response. There's no way to know what he actually will file until and unless he does.
