Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have been divorced for a few years now and I am still waiting on my ex-husband to refinance the mortgage to remove my name from the loan. He says he is waiting on his credit to improve but I am tired of waiting. What should I do?

You have your divorce decree, we don't. Without knowing what was agreed to/ordered in the divorce with regard to his obligation to refinance we cannot answer your question. The best thing to do is talk with the attorney who handled your divorce about this issue.

You omitted the only fact that matters - did the divorce papers REQUIRE him to refinance. If no, he never has to do so. If yes, and he has refused, you call your divorce attorney and file a contempt case against him.
