Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have a friend who doesnt have the best home life. My mom has asked her to move in with us, her mom wont allow her to leave the house. She is 17, can she move out anyways without her mom agreeing with it?

Only if your mom wants to risk getting into serious legal problems.

Your mother cannot take in a minor without the parent's consent. If there are abuse issues, they should be reported. Otherwise, I would advise against your friend moving in. Once she turns 18, she is considered an adult and at that point can move.
