In Georgia, are you allowed to have a roommate of the opposite sex if you have minor children and you are going through a divorce?

You should discuss this with your lawyer (you do have one as you MUST have a lawyer to get through a divorce with children and not have a disaster). Your lawyer will have certainly told you that this will be very damaging to any claims you have for custody and visitation.

So, if your children matter to you at all, that is a horrible idea.

But again, you should be asking such questions to your lawyer and not second guessing him online.

Glen is correct

Short answer, NO !!

Opposing counsel (and the Judge) will have a field day with this information!!

STOP "shacking up AT ONCE" if you want to have any hope of being the custodian for your kids (even after divorce is final, if you are awarded custody, and spouse finds out about your "Shacking UP" he might be able to get kids back and prevent you from seeing them without supervised visitation)

I do not understand how you as a mother can do this to your kids???

Is a roll in the hay more important to you than your kids?????

God, I hope not !!

You need to hire a family law attorney in the LaGrange area IMMEDIATELY !!

Good Luck
