Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My ex husband of 7 years has visitation with our 9 year old daughter. Can I refuse his visitation until after court if he is mentally and emotionally abusing her by taking her with him while he cheats on his current wife and threatening her not to tell it?

You are asking if you can disobey a judge's order without waiting for a judge to review it, just because you want to?

If you want to risk losing custody, and perhaps going to jail, yes.

However, if you are smart, you will discuss this with your lawyer, who I am sure has already warned you what will or may happen, and you will comply with the judge's orders.

Not without a court order. Consult with a local attorney.
