Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I live in GA and have a chld support order started in FL, but the father has always lived in NY. He has put in an order to terminate the order since our daughter is 19 and I started the case in FL which ends @ 18. In his state (NY)the order is until 21. Can the order be terminated for this reason or is it where the dad lives and not where the child resides?

It would depend on the wording of the court order.

I assume if it is a Florida order and in Florida the responsibility to provide support ends at 18, then that is probably when it would end. The wording in the order should state the age when child support ends.
