Not sure what you mean by tricked you into going to jail. You need to file a contempt against him if he is not following the Judges orders. He will likely have to pay court costs and attorneys fees if he is found in contempt.

I would agree on the contempt. I would also suggest, given the syntax of the question, that you hire an attorney immediately. Carefully listen to the advise given to you. Follow it. AND ... how do you get talked into going to jail?

Re: Return of Personal Belongings

Assuming that there is an order in effect the easiest way to enforce the order is to file a motion for contempt. The judge has the authority to force his compliance with the order. If your husband is found in contempt, the judge can place you husband in custody to force him to follow the order of the court. If the court has ordered him to sign a document then the court can enforce that order. Unfortunately your question does not provide details regarding your case. Therefore it is difficult to provide you with a more complete answer. It is suggested that you consult with an attorney for a more detailed response to your inquiry. The foregoing is general information only, not specific legal advice. No attorney client relationship has been created or implied.
