seperation

do i need to be legally seperated from my husband by signing something and going to court or does moving out and not seeing him for 3 years make us legally seperated?

You are not "legally separated" until there is a court order declaring so. Consult with a local attorney.

Georgia doesn't have legal separations. If you are separated and have legal issues, you need a lawyer to represent you in a divorce or separate maintenance action.
