Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I was fired from my job as a mid level practitioner because I "did not complete my charts in a timely fashion". Per our contract I was given 3 mos to find a new job but have been unsuccessful. (I live in GA- a right to work state). My employer told me he would contest unemployment because he "would be penalized" and his "unemployment insurance rate would go up". I want to know my rights Re: the way I was fired and also with regards to him contesting the unemployment.

You mention a contract, but we do not have it to see what is relevant. You use the term "right to work," which deals with union activity, so we don't know how a union is involved. We know nothing about the way you were fired, beyond the reason you stated. It is not clear what "rights" you want to know about, but it appears you have no legal issue until (and if) you apply for unemployment and your employer contests it.
