Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I was fired in the state of georgia for having a handgun at the place where i work. The handbook at work says we can't possecess weapoms on the property as a employee but any other person can. I never saw the handbook till i was fired through a text message and told to turn my keys in or i'd be charged for locked replacement. I have Georgia carring permit and miliarty liscense that says i can carry as long as not a goverment building, a bar, or jail. Is there legeal action that i can take.

Probably not. Assuming that you are an at-will employee, you can be fired at any time for any or no reason (except for discriminatory purposes not described in your posting). An employer would certainly have reason to fire you if you brought a dangerous weapon with you.
