Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

What can be done so I am paid

Did some work as a private cleaning contractor for a furniture company. No exact figure was agreed upon by either myself or the company. I said 15.00 an hr. and office manager said as permanet cost not possible but could pay more than usual since cleaning had not been done in awhile and excess funds were in budget. I stated I would have to clean to know least amount possible to accept. Company sent check for 8 an hr, I sent back as not sufficent. Not paying at all now, what are my options?

There is probably not a binding contract since you didn't agree on a price. However, you would probably have an equity claim based on the fact that you provided the services of which they received the benefit. Your damages would most likely be the fair market value of the work you performed.
