Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I work in HR and need some clarification on FMLA. We are located in Atlanta Georgia. What are the requirements from an employers standpoint, to let the employee know they are close to exhausting their 480 hour allotment, and once they have exhausted it? Are their any regulations that state you are required to provide notices to the employee by a specific time frame?

There are notice requirements that the Department of Labor has explained in certain "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) posted on their website. The web address is http://www.dol.gov/whd/fmla/finalrule/NonMilitaryFAQs.pdf. Look particularly at the information beginning on page 3 of teh FAQ.
