Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
I'm only available to work Monday through Wednesday but my employer has scheduled me to work a Thursday. It's been over a year since I changed to my current availability, which they accepted and have honored until now (My availability form has my signature and my superior's signature for approval). If I can't work that day, can they discipline me?

Employment in Georgia is at-will and employees can be terminated for any or no reason (with very few exceptions for unlawful discrimination). It is typically the employer who decides when it needs employees to work, not the other way around. If they need someone to work on days you cannot work, it is certainly possible they find someone who can work on those days. Obviously, no one here knows any more details about your job duties, value to the company, etc.
