Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

My girlfriend Angela got an apartment here in GA. about ten months ago. about a few days into her new lease she asked me to stay with her so I agreed and have been here since. the first week I was here the property manager asked for a photo copy of my GA drivers license so I provided that information. I have been paying 1/2 of the rent but most of the time all of the rent and electric bill to the property manager. There were a few times we were a little late but paid a late fee of 100.00 and recently were given notice by letter to pay our current past due rent.rent is late by the 5th as stated in the lease. on 08/04/2015 there was a demand letter of the full amount due plus late fee and electric and a demand for possession stating a dispossession warrent will be filed on 08/06/2015. on 08/06/2015 another letter was left on the door without the property name on it signed by the property manager states urgent!!! last chance to pay before eviction.

When she came to our door and handed me the last letter I told her that she(my GF) gets paid on 08/07/2015. She stated that's not good enough. since then she (my GF) has tried to offer paymentbut the property manager once again refused any partial payment or arrangement for full payment within a weeks time. we are officially due at the lates by the 5th and its only the 8th. this is the only month we owe for and have only two month left on the lease agreement. one thing the property manager stated to her (my GF) was she (the property manager) didn't want me here now and thought she was doing better without me. The manager gave her a choice to tell her by 08/10/2015 that she (my GF) needs to advise her (The mgr.)wether she was going to move out or face a disposessory. The manager has knows I've been living here. I've never caused any problems, been loud, in fact I've been very polite with every one I've encountered here. we my GF & I get along fine. i'm self employed and she has two jobs after being unemployed for a few months. I feel discriminated againsted and she feels the same as she has been very rude to us on many occasions.I've even seen her yelling at other people on the property. can i do anything befor we lose our place we live at and have so for the last year. we're afraid we'll end up homeless. we don't know what to do & seriously need some advice or direction as to what to do!! :( Thank you so much!!

To be blunt, you do not understand your (and your girlfriend's) responsibilities under the contract and you are looking for excuses such as "discrimination." Most of your post is not relevant. What is relevant is that rent is late, it has not been paid and the landlord has stated their intent to evict as they have a right to do. You resolve that by paying the rent before you get evicted - NOT by trying to come up with excuses to pass the buck, partial payments or some kind of story about someone else getting yelled at, or how the manager is rude to you.
