Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Georgia

My daughter attends a university in Georgia. She was recently raped in her dorm by a person who does not attend. Is the school liable in any way?

Highly unlikely. The personal liable is the one who did it. Beyond that, even if there is a VERY remote possibility the school was at fault, you posted no actual facts to support it.

There is no way to answer your post. I am sorry to hear about your daughter

First of all, you posted in an area of Law Guru that deals with legal malpractice and lawyer ethics. Most of Law Guri's personal injury attorneys will never see your post because of where you put it.

And even if you had posted in the right area, you left out the single issue that answers your question. For UGA to be liable, you have to show that they were negligent and the negligence caused the rape. What is your basis for claiming that?
