Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia

Can I sue my surgeon for medical malpractice

10 years after having a c section i developed an abdomnial wall infection, was told by my surgeon that the type of sutures that was used to close the area was causing the infection and that they needed to be removed.i had surgery in jaunary of this year to remove the sutures, was told by the surgeon that all of it was remove.in may of this year i had surgery again for another abd. infection, was again told that all of the sutures where removed.i had surgery again in september of this year for another abd. infection.this time the surgery was done by another doctor in the group. in this surgery the doctor opened up the entire old surgicail incison.removing this time all of the suteres that where causing the infections to be ongoing.i feel that the surgeon who did the first surgery back in january should have open the entire area but he didn't. my question is if had had done so would have keep on getting infection after infection? i feel that he didn't do the surgery right the frist time.if he had would not has to have 2 more surgeries, and missed time from work do to pain.

Re: Can I sue my surgeon for medical malpractice

You can sue; however, these cases are extremely difficult and cannot possibly addressed in this type of forum. If you would care to give a call, I will be happy to discuss your case with you.
