Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

My car was in a body shop being repaired from a wreck. During that time they contracted some of the work out to another shop who then wrecked it, making it worse than before. Now after two back to back wrecks I'm sure my car is practically worthless. Can I make the body shop buy my car from me?

They are liable for the damages they causes to your vehicle, which may include diminution in value of your car. You may be able to sue for damages but you can't "make them" buy your car (and if you could, the additional legal expenses would likely far exceed the value).

No.

They can be sued for the cost of the damage to your vehicle (either the diminished value of the car or the cost of repair).
