Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Adding wife to property deed

If I add my new wife to my existing home property deed, how do I ensure that my two children will receive the financial benefits that I want them to have upon my death and the sale of the house. Their mother is deceased and they are both minor children at present.

Re: Adding wife to property deed

Your best approach is not simply add your wife to the deed. That is too simplistic. You need to develope an estate plan which provides for both your new wife and your minor children - and leave the title to the property alone for now.
