Breach of Contract (Purchase and Sale Agreement)
I signed a contract to buy a house.A couple of weeks
before I can close, the spouse of the seller(she is also party to the contract) filed for divorce and said she does not want to sell the house and that she would reimburse me the expenses. Since I have already
given notice in my apartment, I am having to look for another apartment. I asked for the moving charges and the extra amount that I will be incurring to get into a new apartment. They are refusing to do that.
What are my options?

Your options are to either sue for damages or sue for specific performance. The wife has no right to back out of the contract.
