Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

breaking lease

I am trying to break a lease with my landlord due to the property management living in the property with me, who smoke marijuana until the smoke looms in the common areas and have loud music, late night parties and a barking dog that are disrupting our lifestyle and causing stress on ourselves and our pets. The lease has two typos in it and additionaly is for the wrong apartment number. It also has no signature of a the landlord or any representative of his either. There is also no clause in it that deals with the breaking of the lease. Is this a valid document that we must hold as binding?

Re: breaking lease

It sounds like the landlord may have breached its duty to provide you "peaceful enjoyment" of your leased property. Consult with a local attorney who can review your document and the surrounding facts.
