quick claim deeds

we gave a brother quick claim deeds to a piece of property many years back. he never filed them. could he still file them now? is there a specfic time frame limit for filing the quick claim?

He can file them any time.

There is no time limit for this. However, his failure to file the quitclaims leaves him at risk for any liens filed against you and your other siblings, since you still have a lienable interest in the property until they are filed.
