Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

Probate problem

My sister and I were appointed as Co-Administrators of my mother's Estate. After a dispute between myself and the other siblings they teamed up against me and petitioned to have me removed as administrator when I would not allow them to do as they wished with property contained within the Estate.

I was informed by the probate court last week that I have been removed as co-administrator and owe $6500 to the other party's attorney based on false testimony that I have lived in a house contained within the Estate and not paid anything, when in fact I have paid the mortgage since my mother's death, with the exception of two months that were paid by the Estate.

The court believes that my sister has paid the mortgage, which is not true and in fact it is her, her husband, a brother and their nephew who are living on the property which I have been paying for and they have refused to pay anything for the use of the property.

At this point in my life this is a financially ruinous decision and I would like to know how to go about getting it reversed.

I was unable to find an attorney who would work with me with the limited funds I have available and had no legal counsel at the hearing.

Your only real option is to get a lawyer. This is not an appropriate forum to guide you through a pending action.

You have quite a mess on your hands. Most glaring is any sanctions you may face if you don't pay the $6,500.00 the judge ordered. I understand your financial situation, but you really need to get a lawyer somehow.
