Re: lien on property

The usual scenario is this: Plaintiff and the defendant had a dispute over payment of something. Defendant filed claims of interest against properties owned by the plaintiff. The plaintiff brings suit seeking to remove the claims of interest or liens and also brings suit against the defendant for slander of title claiming that the liens are false and malicious made only to disparage the plaintiff's title to the property. Attorney's Fees and Damages are available to the plaintiff should they win.
