My sons future

My son lives with his mother in idaho,i live in texas,and he is 14 yrs old.He has struggled with his grades (d&f) for some time now.His mother will not consider allowing him to move here.As a concenred father do i have a say in where he resides?She is very unreasonable on this subject

If you want to spend the time, money and effort, you can assert your concerns for your son's future. Sounds like you might have to do it Idaho unless the final decree was in TX. You would have to show the Court that it would be in the child's best interest for him to live with you. You would have to show the Court proof (not just your opinion) that he would get better grades and have a better life if he lived with you. That kind of proof can get expensive. Good Luck.
