How do I get co-guardianship of adjudicated incompetent nephew?

Co guardianship is generally disfavored in IL. Courts like one person to be in charge as opposed to having several cooks stirring a pot so to speak. However, I strongly recommend you speak to an honest and experienced local guardianship lawyer. If he is already adjudicated it sounds like a guardian may have already been appointed. In that case, changing guardians may be hard without showing that the current guardian either wants to get out or has done a poor job or something. Again, consult a lawyer or the Office of the Public Guardian of Illinois and in your County. Good luck.
