Never had credit card debt but had outstanding tickets that have now gone into lets say like a collections. Can you file on that type of thing. I was always told after 7 yrs things clear your record but i have never been able to a credit card on my own but do have 3-4 in my present marriage listed as a second card holder. Re: hospital bills

When you file bankruptcy it effects everything, you don't get to pick and choose which debts to file on. You must list all debts and all assets. If you have a credit card that you are current on, it will still be affected by the bankruptcy.
