Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Illinois

Can you paycheck be docked?

My paycheck was short. There was a problem with the time punches. Either there is a glitch in the system, or I forgot to clock-in, not sure. Can your place of employment refuse to pay you for this mistake?

Re: Can you paycheck be docked?

Your employer is only obligated to pay you

according to clocking records, but there may

be a loophole if you can show something is wrong

with the device.
