Legal Question in Technology Law in Illinois

I was accused of sanding email to a person(ON THE FACEBOOK MASSAGE) WHICH I DID NOT DO.She think that I made a fake profile.How can I prove legally that I did not do it,this person is spreading around roomers ,and my reputation in my community is on the line ,this is very hard for me,please give me some advice.Thank you

It is hard to prove a negative. However, perhaps you should just write Facebook and ask for a statement saying you did not do this. You could also sue the person in Small Claims court and ask that they be enjoined. If it is that important see a lawyer in your area for a consultation.
