Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois
At home service!
I called a home service to remove some old junk out the house.Told them what areas to work in and in those areas what to take.they went all round the house and when i asked why or what else u take they blew me off.also taking percious antique and jewelry while damaging my home.so i refuse to pay and called the manager and kicked them out!now there placing a lien on the home......can they do that?

If you are saying that they stole items from you and damaged your property, you should be contacting the police and/or state's attorneys office. I would imagine in the "negotiations" you could get them to provide you with a release of lien. If not, you will probably need to hire any attorney to assist you.
