Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

I purchased a new central air and furnace unit from Sears in Aug 2009. It ran perfectly until May 2010 when it went out and had to be repaired. I was without air for 4 days. On Jun 26th 2010 my unit went out again, and is still out as of this date, Jul 12th 2010. I have called numerous times to get the unit fixed. I'm told that they are waiting on a part and they keep giving me days which come and go and still no part. We have a two year warranty on the unit. My home is very very hot and temps have gotten over 85 degrees inside. Sears has not offered any remedy to the problem nor have they asked if I have small children or not. My wife is starting to complain about headaches and it does not smell clean in our home. What are my options? Can I sue? Can I demand that they give me my money back? How long do I have to wait for service, and can I force them to compensate me for being without air during the hottest time of the summer. Please help!
