Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

We purchased a 2 year extended warranty for our Dodge Van. We had work done on it and was told it was not covered under the warranty. But after searching the warranty paperwork we found 3 times that they charged us. Each time they said it was a "computer problem" and we couldn't do anything about it. We had to fight with Chrysler LLC to get reimbursed (we have the letter from Chrysler to explain what they reimbursed us for). I just worry that this was intentional and would like to find out how many other people they did this to and use the "computer problem" as the excuse. How many people never knew that the work should have been covered but they thought the dealership wouldnt tell them a lie? How many people had work done but paid when it should have been covered under the warranty? 1st time - I could believe it, 2nd time - something is wrong with the computer program, 3rd time - this sounds like someone is doing it on purpose. They work on cars all day and warranty work so they should have some knowledge of what should be covered.

My wife had it in and out of the dealership 8+ times in less than 2 years (not sure how they can advertise 5 star quality when we never seen the service manager or general manager). With the 2 year warranty almost up I went in with her and refused to hear that they can't find anything wrong (looked like if a women came in they would tell her anything). They finally had a mechanic ride with us to hear the noise. When we went on the highway he said we should have brought it in sooner because of the noise was so bad. We told him that the van was in 3 days earlier and they could not find anything wrong. Dodge had to replace the lower end of the motor because I refused to believe them, but that is what they keep telling my wife.
