Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

dui/employment

I was charged with a d.u.i. a year ago and was sentanced to a conditional discharge. Is this the same as a conviction at this point, and while I am still under the supervison do I have to disclose this information to employers on applications?

Re: dui/employment

Conditional Discharge results in a conviction and Supervision does not. If you were placed on Conditional Discharge, you have a conviction on your record.

Re: dui/employment

This is a conviction and as a result your license is revoked. While most questions relate to convictions for felonies and the typical first conviction for DUI is not a felony, if the job requires driving it is something you should discuss with a prospective employer, otherwise you do not have such an obligation.
