Illinois Drivers License--Can You Drive In WI with One if Revoked Here?

No, a local revocation will always trump a valid license from another state while one is in a state where revoked. Many states also have a reciprocity system preventing one state from issuing licenses while revocations are in place in a sister state. IL privileges are said to be extremely difficult to reinstate--much more difficult than in WI for WI residents--folloing treatment and full rehabilitation. I have often recomended that IL client actually move here before they are convicted in order to attempt to avoid this problem.
