Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

Illinois DUI laws

After having an invalid DUI dismissed (I wasn't even driving/was arrested in my home NOT behind the wheel of any vehicle), and then another DUI dismissed and brought down to a simple misdemeanor in the state I am asking about, AND after getting a third DUI which was totally bogus because I merely had my vehicle towed to another location, was NOT behind the wheel, nor did anyone see me behind it - what is the chance of getting this DUI dismissed and/or brought down from a felony charge to a misdemanor AND getting a judicial driving permit (which my previous attorney did not get after being paid to do so) so I can drive to work, my doctor, my child's doctor, to take my elderly Mother to her doctor - what is the chance on getting this dismissed and getting a judicial driving permit? My current attorney (after paying him alot of money) doesn't seem to know the answers to this. Please answer the question ASAP

Re: Illinois DUI laws

From the content of your question, I'm having difficulty in determining why your current DUI charge is being prosecuted as a felony, except if you received convictions previously. That is a great concern to me. A lot also depends on the county in which the new charge is pending. Please advise of the same, and how many CONVICTIONS you have for DUI both in this state and other states, as Illinois is a Compact State member (i.e., convictions in other states count as convictions here, too).
