Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

Statutory Summary Suspension

Last year I was involved in an accident which resulted in me receiving a DUI. This was my 2nd offence and I refused to blow so I was hit with a 3 year suspension. I won the Criminal case but I lost my civil case to rescind the license. My question is if there is any way for me to at least receive a work permit? I currently have not been driving for a year and live 11 miles from my current job. I also have a real estate license which I can't use because of the traveling involved. Thanks.

Re: Statutory Summary Suspension

You would likely have to petition the Secretary of State for a Restricted Driving Permit. My office handles SOS hearings and I'm please to discuss this with you, should you wish to call.
