Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Court Ordered DNA Testing

Is is possible to get court order to forcing a person to take a DNA test for a child that is now 23 years old. Had and individual accuse me off being the father of their 23 year old child and wanted me to take a DNA test. I declined, due to I firmly believing that I am not the biological father of this child.

Re: Court Ordered DNA Testing

Hello. Only a judge can order you

to submit to a DNA test; no one else can force you to take a DNA test.

Since the child is 23 years of age,

I predict very little will happen. Will be happy to discuss this with you

further.
