Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

My husband settled a law suit that he was involved in. He signed a confidentiality statement. Does that mean he can not share the information, including what he was awarded, with me?

Without reading the confidentiality agreement and/or knowing the circumstances of the litigation your question cannot be answered.

It would depend upon the terms of the agreement itself, although it would be highly unusual for a defendant to insist upon an agreement that prohibits communication between spouses.
